Using your confirmation code

What is a confirmation code, why do you need one and steps on receiving a new confirmation code.

What is a confirmation code?

Your hospital will create a LifeBox profile for you using information they hold on file, including your email address and mobile number. The LifeBox system will automatically send a confirmation code to your mobile via SMS during the activation process.

Why do I need a confirmation code?

LifeBox follows a two-factor authentication process to ensure the information held on your account is secure. This process includes an email containing a personal activation link, and a text message containing a unique confirmation code.

To complete the profile activation process, you will need to receive the confirmation code.

If you do not immediately receive a confirmation code, try the following:

  • Allow sufficient time for the system to send the code (usually within 30 minutes)

  • Ensure your phone is switched on and has a signal to your network carrier

  • Try clicking 'Resend' found under the 'Confirm' button

  • If you have tried the above steps and still do not receive a code, contact the hospital to check that the correct mobile number is linked to your LifeBox profile

The code you receive will expire after 24 hours. If you attempt to use the code after 24 hours, the system will not accept it. Try the above steps to receive a new confirmation code.

The code is unique and generated by a secure system. We are unable to provide the code manually
